Hey friends,
Have u guys seen any pics of Rekha from Stardust awards? at least i have not seen any yet. I guess she reached late there for function only and didn't walk on red carpet as red carpet pics are out and none of hers.Since stardust editor himself tweeted that Rekha looked stunning in Kanjeevaram & jadaau jewelry so it is 100% definite that she did attend these awards. Wow..2 back to back public appearances. One at 'Mai' premiere and other at Vishwaroopam screening. Personally liking Vishwaroopam pics as for once she is in a simple suit ..no heavy kanjeevarams , no jewelry. Good to see Rekha with Kamal Haasan..always wanted to see them together in a movie.

Wow..wow...just watched a small clip of stardust on Youtube and saw Rekha..She was looking sooooooo gorgeous. SO so happy to see her in sari other than golden/red/brown shades and not looking like jewelry stand. She was looking divine in a turquoise Sari with Red border and hair done in a braid. Though i have some reservations with her frequent use of sindoor but i am ready to ignore it today as everything else was perfect :).

I really want to see a good full length picture of Rekha from Stardust show. Though I watched the whole show today but it was most of the time top half..but anyways,in my opinion it was one of her best appearances in award shows in last couple of years. just loved the color of her Sari. Although show has been aired but yet no pics available online. Is the award issue of stardust out? maybe we can find some qood quality pic of Rekha in it..so guys pls keep an eye on new stardust award issue . thnx

Last Night enjoyed the Filmfare awards, its good to see the performance of Hrithik Roshan... superb. He is mind Blowing. Show was good but not like that...X factor. Dear Vibha, I don't care what people says about Rekha's Sindoor, her trademark Kanjeewaram Sareee, her jewellery or anything. It's cleared that people jealous of her Beauty thats why the said like this. Anyway just wanna say I love to see her.. waise bhi Sindoor suits her more than others.
Excellent site, once again my heart starts btg at this 50s. The image is so powerful for me that when i watch Rekhaji's photo or any scene of films, it cools me psychologically. In yrs 1999 to 2001, I used to for picnic, once in a yr, in a bunglow at Talegaon where i remember there is one beautiful portrait of Rekhaji with hairs on both the shoulders(khule ghane baal) covering right & left ears, which feels that she is actually present in front of us. I was mad for that portrait but cldnot get. Pl add that photo on this site if available. Regards & Hi to Rekhaji. Santosh D.

पिछले काफी समय से अभिनेत्री रेखा सिर्फ अवार्ड्स समारोह में पुरष्कार बाँटती और शादी विवाह, जन्मदिन जैसे उत्सवो की शोभा बढाती नज़र आती हैं, और हमेशा वही कांजीवरम , और आभूषण से लदी -फदी दिखती हैं, बेशक उनके प्रशंशक उनकी इन छोटी- छोटी झलकियों के सहारे जिन्दा हैं, पर क्या रेखा की एक बतौर शस्कत अभिनेत्री होने के नाते अपने प्रशंशको के प्रति कोई जिम्मेदारी नहीं बनती??

संजय लीला भंसाली के जन्मदिन के विडियो को देखकर मुझे ज़ुबेदा फिल्म में रेखा के बारे में की गयी वो समीक्षा याद आ गयी , जहाँ एक मशहूर समीक्षक ने उनकी तारीफ़ में कहा था की आज की अभिनेत्रियों को रेखा से बहुत कुछ सीखना चाहिए , जैसे की कैसे बात करनी है , चलना, मुड़ना, रुकना और यहाँ तक की कैसे खड़ा होना है यह भी , इस विडियो में जिस तरह रेखा जी चल रही हैं, वाकई कोई उनसे सीखे की जमी पर चलना क्या होता है !

शुक्र है, इतने लम्बे अंतराल के बाद रिषभ जी का कोई लैटर तो पढने को मिला , "अस्तित्व" को पढने के बाद लगा वाकई में हम सभी कहीं ना कहीं संवेदनशील हो गए हैं एक -दूसरे के प्रति , समाज के प्रति, और जो भी हमारे आस- पास घट रहा है उस बात के प्रति तभी शायद हम हर चीज को अनदेखा कर आगे बढ़ जाते हैं , आधुनिकता के नाम पर, बदलाव के नाम पर जिस तरह अपनी संस्कृति को भुला कर हमने फूहड़ता और नयी जीवन शैली को अपनाया है , कहीं ना कहीं हमने अपनी पहचान अपनी गरिमा को खो दिया है , जहाँ मुन्नी बदनाम हुई, शीला की जवानी, पल्लू के नीचे छिपा के और फेविकोल जैसे लोकप्रिय गानों से आदमी की मानसिकता को गन्दा किया जा रहा है, ऐसे में क्या वो औरत को सम्मान दे पाएंगे , रिषभ जी बहुत करारी चोट की है इस नए बदलाव और हालात पर, शुक्रिया इस खूबसूरत ख़त के लिए ...

मैं एक महिला हूँ और मैं खुद यह मानती हूँ की जब तक महिला अपना सम्मान करना नहीं सीखेगी तब तक उसे सम्मान नहीं मिलेगा , आज का सिनेमा और फैशन के नाम पर आइटम गीत में जिस तरह नारी के अस्तित्व की धज्जियाँ उड़ा के रखी हुई हैं , शायद उसी का परिणाम है की उसे अब समाज में सम्मान नहीं हवस की नज़रों से देखा जाता है, पता नहीं कहाँ ख़त्म हो गयी है भारतीय नारी की गरिमा और कहाँ सो गया है सेंसर बोर्ड , रिषभ जी का लैटर "अस्तित्व" एक करारा तमाचा है आज के इस बदले हुए समाज, सोच और हालात पर, उनका प्रयास काबिले तारीफ़ है मगर उनका यह लिखना तभी सार्थक होगा , जब हम इसे पढ़कर भूल ना जाये बल्कि इन बढती हुई सामाजिक कुरीतियों को बदलने की पहल भी करें।।।

वही सच्चाई , वही जज्बा और वही अपनापन , उनके (रिषभ ) खतों में है, वतन की मिटटी की खुशबू , और यही खासियत है, रिषभ की पहचान , बहुत अरसे बाद, रिषभ जी का ख़त पढने को मिला बहुत अच्छा लगा , उन्होंने बड़ी ख़ूबसूरती से अपने खतों में हर दफा एक ऐसा मुद्दा उठाया है जिस पर हम हमेशा से बातें तो बहुत करते हैं पर संजीदा नहीं होते , उनके ख़त हमें खुद से रुबरु कराते हैं , और अँधेरे में एक मशाल का काम करते हैं , रिषभ जी समाज के लिए एक मशाल हैं जो अंधेरों को रोशन कर दे , और एक मिशाल भी .. अल्लाह हाफ़िज़

सुबह से ही रंग बरस रहा है, सच में अगर सिलसिला का " रंग बरसे भीगे चुनर वाली रंग बरसे" यह गाना ना हो तो ना होली के त्यौहार का मज़ा है और ना ही होली खेलने का, बहुत बहुत शुक्रिया यश जी का जो उन्होंने सिने प्रेमियों को यह खूबसूरत गीत दिया, और रही बात अमित जी और ख़ूबसूरती की मिसाल रेखा जी की तो शब्दों में कुछ भी कह पाना संभव नहीं। बस और कुछ ना कहते हुए यही कहूँगी की होली का यह पावन पर्व हमेशा आपके जीवन में प्यार और सफलता का रंग भरता रहे ....

आखिरकार वो दिन आ ही गया जब एक बार फिर से तुम्हारे कलम का जादू दिखाई दिया , कुछ और कहने से पहले मैं तुम्हारा तहे दिल से शुक्रिया अदा करना चाहूँगा इस ख़ास लैटर के लिए जोकि उस समय पर लिखा गया जब ना सिर्फ हमें बल्कि समाज को इसकी बहुत ज्यादा ज़रूरत थी , सच कहूँ तो मेरे लिए ज्यादा ख़ुशी की बात तुम्हारा इतने समय के बाद लिखना नहीं बल्कि इस विषय पर लिखना है , यक़ीनन इस संवेदनशील लेख को लिखना बहुत मुश्किल भरा रहा होगा तुम्हारे लिए , इसकी ख़ास वजह यह भी है की यह एक व्यक्ति विशेष पर ना होकर बल्कि समस्त नारी जाति पर केन्द्रित है , यूँ तो दामिनी के दर्द को बयां करना आसान नहीं , मगर अपनी कलम के माध्यम से संपूर्ण नारी जगत को संबोधित करते हुए दामिनी जैसी कई शसक्त महिलाओं को श्रधांजलि देना एक सराहनीय प्रयास है , मगर विडम्बना तो देखिये इतना सबकुछ हो जाने के बाद भी मगर कुछ थमा नहीं है, आये दिन कुछ और नया और दर्दनाक सुनाई पड़ रहा है, निसंदेह आज लोग समाज का हिस्सा होने के बावदूज सामाजिक नहीं हैं, सब कुछ बदल गया है आधुनिकता के नाम , मगर तुम्हारे शब्दों को पढ़ सुकून होता है की हाँ सच्चाई , शिद्दत, जोश, प्रेम, सामजिकता कहीं बाकी है।।। तुम्हारे इस जोश और जज्बे से परिपूर्ण खतों का इंतज़ार आगे भी रहेगा जो खुद को यह सोचने पर विवश करते है की क्या हम वाकई में इंसान है???

बहुत -बहुत धन्यवाद दोस्तों स्टारडस्ट अवार्ड्स के विडियो और फोटोज के लिए, इस साल के जितने भी पुरष्कार समारोह में रेखा ने शिरकत की वो सभी अपने आप में ख़ास थे , पर कुछ समारोह का स्तर लगातार नीचे आता नज़र आया तो वहीँ कुछ समारोह की जहाँ कुछ समय पहले कोई चर्चा नहीं होती थी ने वाहवाही बटोरी ...
वहीँ फिल्मफेयर का स्तर भी लगातार गिरा है , देश का सबसे गौरवशाली समारोह अपने आप धीरे -धीरे अपनी गरिमा और लोकप्रियता खोता जा रहा है , ऐसे में स्क्रीन अवार्ड्स और स्टारडस्ट ने दर्शकों की नब्ज़ पकड़ने में कामयाब रहे हैं, वाकई स्क्रीन अवार्ड्स के बाद अगर मुझे कोई अवार्ड पसंद आया तो वो स्टारडस्ट है, सभी कुछ मनोरंजक और यादगार , और" रेखा "वो तो खैर हर समारोह का मुख्य आकर्षण होती हैं।

In yrs 1999 to 2001, I used to for picnic, once in a yr, in a bunglow at Talegaon where i remember there is one beautiful portrait of Rekhaji with hairs on both the shoulders(khule ghane baal) covering right & left ears, which feels that she is actually present in front of us. I was mad for that portrait but cldnot get. Pl add that photo on this site if available. Regards & Hi to Rekhaji.

यूँ तो दामिनी के दर्द को बयां करना आसान नहीं , मगर अपनी कलम के माध्यम से संपूर्ण नारी जगत को संबोधित करते हुए दामिनी जैसी कई शसक्त महिलाओं को श्रधांजलि देना एक सराहनीय प्रयास है , मगर विडम्बना तो देखिये इतना सबकुछ हो जाने के बाद भी मगर कुछ थमा नहीं है, आये दिन कुछ और नया और दर्दनाक सुनाई पड़ रहा है, निसंदेह आज लोग समाज का हिस्सा होने के बावदूज सामाजिक नहीं हैं, सब कुछ बदल गया है आधुनिकता के नाम , मगर तुम्हारे शब्दों को पढ़ सुकून होता है की हाँ सच्चाई , शिद्दत, जोश, प्रेम, सामजिकता कहीं बाकी है।।। तुम्हारे इस जोश और जज्बे से परिपूर्ण खतों का इंतज़ार आगे भी रहेगा जो खुद को यह सोचने पर विवश करते है की क्या हम वाकई में इंसान है???
वहीँ फिल्मफेयर का स्तर भी लगातार गिरा है , देश का सबसे गौरवशाली समारोह अपने आप धीरे -धीरे अपनी गरिमा और लोकप्रियता खोता जा रहा है , ऐसे में स्क्रीन अवार्ड्स और स्टारडस्ट ने दर्शकों की नब्ज़ पकड़ने में कामयाब रहे हैं, वाकई स्क्रीन अवार्ड्स के बाद अगर मुझे कोई अवार्ड पसंद आया तो वो स्टारडस्ट है, सभी कुछ मनोरंजक और यादगार , और" रेखा "वो तो खैर हर समारोह का मुख्य आकर्षण होती हैं।
